MEDITATION i
There are Different Types and Methods to Meditation.
The following summarizes them. In effect, they are levels of meditation:
o Relaxation - e.g., meditation music
o Concentration - e.g., affirmations, mantras, and visualizations
o Contemplation
o Pure Awareness (non-dual stage of meditation)
There are Four Stages of Mediation
o Relaxation - e.g., meditation music
o Concentration - e.g., affirmations, mantras, and visualizations

o Pure Awareness (non-dual stage of meditation)
There are Four Stages of Mediation
- By removing the passion, negative thoughts, delusion, attachment from the mind, and to use the power of discrimination and non-attachment
- To experience inner peace and tranquility through the power of meditation and knowledge
- To keep the mind uninfluenced by the impact of the external world through deep concentration
- To get the sate of equanimity--being free from the impact of dichotomies, such as pleasure-pain, heat-cold, loss-gain, etc. When the mind if free from the fluctuation of duality, one roams in peace, steadiness, and purity. In this sate, one enters into the state of enlightenment and experiences bliss.
